Here are our sight words we have learned so far this year. I am putting together a PowerPoint for us to review our sight words as the year goes on. This PowerPoint will help us practice and review our sight words. Each slide will have a student holding a sight word. This will help students recognize their classmates and identify the sight word they are holding. It creates a personal connection and will hopefully help them remember the sight word better. You can practice these at home!

What a fun week learning about Sophia! We discovered she loves Cinderella and even met her, took a picture with her, and has a Barbie that looks like Cinderella! We heard all about her wonderful trip to Tahquamenon Falls this summer with her mom, dad, and brother. She shared her favorite stories from her Fairytale book, which we loved! Thank you Sophia for being the student of the week. We have started our math grouping stations and you may have heard some of your kiddos talking about it. We call it Math RtI. We are grouped by our certain needs. Some need a little help with numbers, patterns, shapes, etc. We are having so much fun learning as we use math manipulatives in small groups. Here are some pictures from our first week. |
