Brandy definitely enjoyed being the leader of the week. She is a natural born leader! She loved calling tables and squares when they looked ready :) She was a great helper! She brought in many things to show and we all enjoyed them.

What a blast! Thank you again to my parents who volunteered their time! The kids enjoyed getting to know each one of you. We did 4 stations again: 1. Pin the carrot on the snowman 2. Roll and make a snowman 3. Decorate Christmas cookies 4. Christmas tree craft Claire was our student of the week. She is quite the comedian! She brought in stuffed animals and stories that made us giggle and smile! We especially liked her funny photo booth pictures from a wedding she went to with her uncle and dad! Too fun! We have had some visitors in our classroom that your child has probably told you about. Our elf friends Willow & Dot come visit us every day with a new message about how to spread kindness in our school. Here are the first 4 days with these visitors! Thanks for sharing more about yourself last week Bryce! We have quite the karate star in our class. Bryce brought in his chopped piece of wood that he kicked and split all by himself! We found out he was even moved up a level because he is such a star :) Way to go Bryce! Thank you so much to our parent volunteers! They did all the work and were tremendous! The kids had so much fun getting to know you or showing you off if you were there mom ;) We had 4 stations: 1. Thanksgiving Bingo 2. Turkey Snacks 3. Turkey Number Recognition 4. Turkey Poem What a blast! Thank you also to the parents who contributed to the turkey snack. You guys are great! Thanks for making our day so special. Also we were honored to have Sam's mom read a fall story to us. She is a first grade teacher! What a day! We feel thankful for so many things! |
